This is a theme that I have been emphasizing for years, and a Jefferson County artist is teaming up with a NOAA scientist to share some of this confluence with the public.
David Eisenhower, who was featured in a SEA-Media story last year, will be participating in a compelling conversation with Dr. Nina Bednarsek Sunday Sept. 13, 2015 at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art from 3 to 5 PM.
If you can’t make it Sunday for the talk, (or even if you can) we encourage an after dark visit to Bainbridge to see the dramatic installation lit to invoke an underwater setting for Ike’s many jellyfish sculptures. The jellies are accompanied by a wall of barnacles and limpets in the Beacon Gallery.
